Job Description
As a Swim Instructor at RACE Aquatics Swim Club, you will be responsible for leading swimming programs and conducting both individual and group lessons customized for children of different ages and skill levels. This position is perfect for students who are passionate about swimming, have exceptional communication skills, and possess the ability to motivate young swimmers while fostering a love and respect for the water. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and self-driven Swim Instructor to become part of our team and support our RACE Aquatics Swim Club located in Bowling Green, KY.
Responsibilities
• Provide swim instruction for students of varying ages and skill levels
• Create a safe and positive learning environment for all students
• Evaluate student progress, offering feedback and assistance as necessary
Requirements
• Prior experience working with students of all ages and skill levels, preferably in an instructional or educational capacity
• Strong swimming abilities and knowledge of different swim strokes and techniques
• Thorough understanding of water safety and survival skills
• Current CPR & First Aid Certification (including infant, child, and adult)
• Outstanding communication, organizational, time management, and innovative teaching skills
• Effective behavior management skills, capable of handling challenging situations with composure and professionalism
• Experience in childcare or sports coaching is a plus and demonstrates familiarity with working in structured environments with children
• Genuine love and enthusiasm for both swimming and working with children
